The textiles imported by INTERWEAVERS
are all hand-woven on backstrap or floor looms and are primarily of the
traditional Maya Indian design. These include traditional apparel
plus utilitarian and religious pieces which may be purchased by the piece.
Bolt fabric is available in limited selection by the yard or may be special
ordered by the bolt (approximately 40-50 yards). Because textiles
are of special interest to Interweavers owner, MaryAnn Walborg, and because
she has connections with many weavers in Guatemala, textiles can be provided
that are suitable for your special needs. Do not hesitate to let
